Welcome to the new ST 3.0 with new singer Lisa Mann!!!

Splintered Throne

Splintered Throne would like to welcome Lisa Mann to the fold as the new voice of the band. Lisa is an award winning Contemporary Blues artist, but she never lost her love of hard rock and heavy metal music. She learned how to play bass and sing along with her Iron Maiden and Rush albums, and first performed live in the original incarnation of crossover band Dead Conspiracy. Though she has mostly made her mark in the blues scene, she forayed into symphonic metal as the voice and bass player of Cry for Eden. She is also the producer of the mostly one-woman traditional metal recording project White Crone.

Splintered Throne have released the song Immortal as a new single to showcase what Lisa brings to the band. It was recorded and mixed at Primal Studios in Portland, OR over one rainy Pacific NW weekend. The song pays homage to those we’ve lost over the years. By keeping the memories of those people alive, they never really die. They remain Immortal.

This single can be found on our Bandcamp, Reverbnation, and Soundcloud pages, and will be distributed worldwide on Spotify, ITunes, Deezer and many others in the coming days.

We want to thank all of you for your support and continued love for the band over these last few months.  It has made us want to come back bigger, badder and stronger than ever.  We think we have totally done that.  May 9th, Billy Blues in Vancouver WA, come see for yourself!

2019 Update

It has been super quiet on the blog front.  2019 has been a crazy year so far for us.  Supporting Flotsam & Jetsam in June was huge, but as many of you know, we also said goodbye to our founding member Brian Garrison, who has retired from music to spend more time with his family.  The remainder of the band and I decided we would take the summer off (since we never do), enjoy the time off, and regroup after a few months to see what the next chapter of ST holds.  Now is that time...

We had two rounds of auditions with some top quality singers.  While we are not ready to make an official announcement, we will be working with one of them in the near future to see how well we write together, because as they sounded on the older material during the audition, and of course the gel and hang out afterwards, it was (in the words' of Bill and Ted) most excellent. We will certainly keep you all posted on the progress and the next chapter of Splintered Throne 3.0.

Howdy Do!!!

So as I paruse the ST page, I realize that the blog is not very up to date.  I am here to fix that!

If you've been following along at home, you'll know that we were just feature on pdxspotlight as a featured guest with an interview and some live performances from our recent show at Billy Blues in Vancouver, WA.  We also recorded a live EP at that event, and it should be out SOON in all it's metal glory.  If you missed the interview, you can always go to the pdx spotlight page, or check it out on Oregon Music News...we made the front page!

With the approach of the Holiday season, we have shut down the gig train and are focusing on writing the next original ST release.  For those of you wanting more of The Octagon energy, we think you'll be pleased!   No word on a release date yet because, just like fine wine, some things get better with time!

We do have one solid show booked, and that is Jan 26th, 2019 at the Heavy Metal Brewing Company in Vancouver, WA.  This is my and Kris' birthday gig, and we have a slew of guest performers coming up to join us for the first set, which is going to be a lot of covers.  Then we do two rockin' sets of ST and some Priest and call it a great birthday!!  Basically, Kris and I are having a birthday party in a great bar with a jam and you are ALL invited!!  $5 cover, and if you are wearing ST apparel, you can bring a guest for free!!!!  Hope to see you all at the party!

Splintered Throne teams up with Parker & Barrow Entertainment

Well, the news is official as of today, we have partnered with Parker and Barrow Entertainment, a great management company that we have worked with on and off over the past year.  We have finally realized that there are a LOT of opportunities that are out there we keep coming across that really can be best handled by some top-notch, professional management, and AJ and Shawna are the ones who can do that.  We are beyond excited!  Once the dust settles, we have a few pending show announcements we are waiting to share, and it looks like we will be heading to places not yet conquered!!

2018 Update - The State of the Throne

Well, it's been quiet here on our site since we relaunched when the REDLINE CD came out.  That's because we've been busy!! Initial response to the CD has been great overall, and we're excited to have it available for distribution on so many platforms, including iTunes, Spotify, CD Baby and just about anywhere else you can find new music.  Grab yourself a copy if you don't have one!

We've played a bunch of shows this year and are looking to do a few more, including TWO stops at the St. John's Beer Porch and a return to the Guitars Under The Stars Festival in Lebanon, OR.  This is one of our favorite events to perform at and we are looking to hook up with lots of old friends.  This year it's a FOUR DAY festival, with lots of family friendly events.  Head on over to for more info and to find out how to get tickets for this awesome event.

We've also been working on some video!  You've probably seen a few bumpers and unofficial things, but we are working with Parker and Barrow Entertainment to have our first Official Video from REDLINE. It will be the opening track Enjoy The Ride, and we're hoping to have it ready for release in the next month or so.  Filming is done, so look for the final product SOON!!

Make sure to follow us on Instagram, Twitter and all that other cool social media!  See you soon...until then, stay thirsty for the music!! #catchthethrone

Welcome to our new, improved and OFFICIAL Splintered Throne site!!  As you know, today is the digital download release day of our new CD REDLINE and just a few weeks before you can actually get a physcial copy.  We are all super excited for the release of the CD and can't wait for you to all hear it!  We still have some tickets left for our New Years Eve CD Release party Rockstravaganza and hope to see as many of you there who are up for ringing in NYE with us, our Special Guests the Robert Anthony Robertson (RAR) band, and all the killer brews and food that The Heavy Metal Brewing Company have to offer.  We promise to not only play stuff off the new CD but we've got some new Splintered covers that should pack the after-midnight dance floor!

We are also playing December 2nd at Dantes with our good friends Chemical Rage for their CD release party, and our new friends Veio.  $8 advance, $10 DOS for another killer local original artist release.  Do come out and help support local, original music!!

See you kids soon!!!
